Located in the Lac de Gras region of Canada’s Northwest Territories, approximately 300 km northeast of Yellowknife, the Ekati Diamond Mine was Canada’s first surface and underground diamond mine. Since commencing operations in 1998, Ekati has produced millions of carats of high-quality diamonds from multiple kimberlite pipes across the property.
